Privacy Policy: Tapself

Tapself ("the app") lets you share a web link from your phone to another phone using NFC. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

Information the app stores

The link you enter and whether sharing is switched on. These are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage.

Information the app collects or shares

None. The app does not have internet access. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking. The developer never receives your link or any other information.

When your link leaves your phone

Only when you allow it: while sharing is switched on and your screen is on, a phone that you hold against yours over NFC can read the link you saved. That is the purpose of the app. Switch sharing off in the app to stop this.

Backups

If Android device backup is turned on, your saved link may be included in your personal device backup, which is managed by Google under your Google account settings. The developer has no access to it.

Deleting your data

Clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
